Konvansiyonel laparoskopik splenektomi splenomegali ve dalağın travmatik rüptürlerinde güvenli mobilizasyon ve hiler kontrol için engel teşkil edebilir. Bu koşullarda el yardımlı laparoskopik splenektomi güvenli manüpliasyon ve splenik diseksiyon ile birlikte minimal invaziv cerrahinin benzer avantajlarını sunabilir.
