Situs inversus totalis is an uncommon defect and may pose diagnostic and therapeutic challanges. If patients with situs inversus admit with symptomatic gallstones, the necessity of cholecystectomy may occur. In this circumstance, laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the gold standard surgical procedure as well. Furthermore, regarding the technical details of laparoscopic approach, single-incision access seems having more advantages than the standard 3 or 4-incision surgery in such patient. As known, considering the literature, there are only six smilar cases of situs inversus totalis patient who was treated with single-incision laparoscopic technique so far. This report aims to present single incision access to an unusual case of cholelithiasis and evaluate the technical advantages of this procedure.

Eğer situs inversuslu bir hastada semptomatik kolelitiazis gelişirse, kolesistektomi endikasyonu doğar. Bu durumda laparoskopik kolesistektomi yine altın standarttır. Dahası, laparoskopik yaklaşımın teknik detayları göz önüne alınırsa, bu hastalarda tek kesili yaklaşım daha avantajlı görünmektedir. Bilindiği kadarıyla literatürde situs inversuslu hastada tek kesi ile laparoskopik kolesistektomi yapılan sadece altı benzer olgu mevcuttur.
Olguda alışılmışın dışındaki bir kolelitiazis hastasına tek port ile yaklaşımı ve bunun teknik avantajlarını paylaştık.
